How do I bulk change post status and comments to pending / or draft

    Hi client’s site got infiltrated by a script kiddy who published 70000 spammy articles and around 22 000 comments.

    Using the WordPress interface to do it in bulk 100 at a time is not going to work.

    Any tips? Plugins? Database queries I can run?

    On what site are you working? The account you’re using to post here does not own any sites on WordPress.com.

    If you’re using the open source WordPress software at another host, please ask for help from the WordPress.org community at https://wordpress.org/support/forums instead.

    If your hosting plan includes site backups, you can also contact the hosting provider for help restoring a backup from before the site was compromised.
