How Do I Buy A Domain?

    I am trying to buy/register a domain name through WordPress, but I can’t seem to find the option to do this. I have had wordpress blogs before and have registered domains through them. For some reason, either I am overlooking the spot or wordpress no longer offers this service? How do I buy a domain through wordpress? If I can no longer do this, can I just buy one from another register and direct it to my WP site?
