I have a site going, but I can’t figure out how to control what it looks like. I need help from a live person. I upgraded to the $18/mo. level. Is there an 800 number or no?

Thanks for the response. I have been through the user’s guide, and the help pages, and still have several problems:
1. I don’t know how to get the header image to fill the header space. I want it to bleed off the page, but not be too tall. To look just like the Untitled theme demo.
2. I can’t get my title and tag line to show up over the header image. Even though I leave Show Header Text With Image or whatever checked. It’s never there.
3. How do I center the blog entries on the page? Again, I want it to look just like the demo.
4. The widget links are a mess. No logos, too long, too much space between links, etc. The feed from my Facebook page doesn’t work, even if I click stream, profile photo, all of that. None of it shows up.
5. How do I change font types and colors?

Also, the Facebook Like Box doesn’t show up.
In the Contact widget, there is nowhere to enter my email and it doesn’t show up automatically.
Also in Contacts, I need a place to add more than just my contact info. I have two other people (agents), whose info needs to be there. How do I customize this widget?
I may be interested in upgrading for more design help, or to save money. I saw a $99/year offer. Is that the same package I have now, only cheaper?

Now I can’t upload a header image. The drop-down image only gives me the Uploaded option. Please help so I don’t have to cancel and get my money back. thanks.

I would be happy to help with your questions, but I can also help you cancel as well.
First off, the $18 you paid is not a monthly fee. It is simply the domain registration fee for jasonwakesmith.com. It is a yearly fee. I can cancel the domain for you, but if you have any intention of using jasonwakesmith.com again, I would suggest that you not cancel it. Cancelation runs the very real risk that the registrar will not release it again for registration and you will not be able to regain control. I would instead suggest that you point the nameservers to whatever new webhost you choose using these instructions:

It is possible to transfer a domain registered at WordPress.com to another registrar. However, ICANN rules prohibit transferring for 60 days after registration. This is to discourage scams and domain theft.

WordPress.com is free to use. The $18/yr pays for domain registration and the ability to use a custom domain with your WordPress.com site.
