How do I cancel an Upgrade subscription?

Twelve months ago I paid US$99.00 for an Upgrade on my WordPress account – for domain registration, I think.

I did not realise this is an annual fee.

I do not use the blog, never have. It is idle.
I want to cancel this annual fee.

How do I do this please?

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Provided you are logged in under the same username account that purchased the upgrades, you can disable auto-renew Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades > Disable auto-renew

To cancel a domain you registered with WordPress.com, please log into your account, then go to Store → My Upgrades and use the “Cancel” link in the Subscription Status column. If it’s more than 2 days past the purchase date, you will not receive a refund, but the domain can still be canceled by Staff. I tagged this thread for their assistance. Please subscribe to it so you are notified when they respond.

I don’t see any current or past upgrades on your account. Do you perhaps have another account? and what domain name did you register?

    Thank you.

I do have another account/domain name which the Upgrade was purchased under/for: moirablincoephotography.com

I have followed the instructions that timethief (above) posted to cancel, but nothing seems to work on the page/submission. It says I’m supposed to receive a confirmation email from WordPress – but I haven’t.

This renewal of Upgrade fee was bought to my attention by my Bank, as they called me to query if I’d made a purchase for said amount (US$99). As I hadn’t, we delved further in to it and found the renewal.

I don’t want this annual debit anymore!

There must be someway to cancel this, otherwise the Bank will have to take action.

    Any assistance greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Please make sure you are logged in as the blog owner (moirablincoe) in order to cancel the upgrade. Or reply to this thread as ‘moirablincoe’ and I’ll cancel it for you.

Note that canceling a domain means you completely give up ownership of the domain and can take up to 35 days before it will become available to register somewhere.

If you would like to transfer the domain to another registrar, you can use these steps:
