how do I cancel and start over with the same email address?

    I want to change my website address name to something else and it seems the only way to to do that is to cancel my account? Or, just someone please let me know how to simply change my chosen name/website address for my wordpress.com. I’m not paying for the service, just using their simplest free version but can’t figure this out. I got answers from some people on how to change it if I’m paying for it but not the free version. Is there no actual customer service/support to call??

    and start over with the same email address?

    To use the email address associated with an account on a different account, you’ll have to change the email address of the first account. This will free up the first email address so that it can be used again on another account. See the Update Email Address support page for information and instructions on changing an account email address.
