  How can I cancel my account on this site ? I joined up because I thought I had to to access another persons Blog . I do not need to be part of this site

  You can’t cancel a WordPress.com account; you can delete a blog here, but you can’t cancel your account. You don’t need to use it, though, and nobody will spam you.
