How do I cancel my premium membership?

    Where do I go to cancel my premium membership and get a refund for any funds left? Just want to leave as free WP site membership. Thanks.

    In case you want to retain the domain URLI’ll tag this thread for a Staff follow-up. Please subscribe to the thread so you are notified when they respond and please be patient while waiting.

    You must be logged in as Admin under the same username account that registered the blog and purchased the upgrade(s) at > Dashboard > Store > My Upgrades to disable auto-renew, cancel and get a refund.

    WordPress.com provides a 30-day refund on all upgrades except Domain Registrations, Domain Renewals, and Guided Transfers.

    Note: It takes from 1 – 2 weeks for the refund to be received.

    Hi there,

    I see that you purchased your WordPress.com Premium plan in September 2013. As timethief mentioned, there’s a 30-day refund period on most upgrades here at WordPress.com. We’re not able to offer pro-rated refunds.

    You’re welcome to leave your WordPress.com Premium plan on your blog and let it expire this September. If you’re interested in keeping your domain or other individual upgrades that are part of the Premium plan, you can go to Store > My Upgrades in your dashboard and use the Cancel link there. That will split the Premium plan into its individual upgrades so you can renew or cancel them individually.
