how do I cancel the AKISMET subscription

  I do not need the AKISMET subscription. I have a website and it is useless for me. PLEASE tell me how to cancel the AKISMET subscription so that I will not be billed year after year.

  What is the URL of your site, beginning with http://? Akismet is a built-in feature for WordPress.COM blogs, and you should not be charged anything for it. If you are, that means you most likely have a WordPress.ORG site and you’re in the wrong forum.

  WordPress.COM and .ORG are two separate platforms using two different software.

  I do not understand. On 11/13/14, I paid $12 for a year for an AKISMET Key. I did find a way to cancel the subscription, but I cannot remember the URL. I believe that I found the answer on AKISMET.com.
