How do I categorize my posts?

    I’ve started my blog today and want to create a site where I could have permanent categories eg: Holiday, Work, Play and then file posts into one of those categories. So, if I did a post on ‘Rome’, it would appear both as my latest post and also could be found in the ‘Holiday’ category.

    Currently my theme is Spun, so maybe it doesn’t support this function.

    I’ve looked at the wordpress theme and that doesn’t seem to have any answers. Any help you can give me would be much appreciated.
