How do I categorize my posts?

    I cannot figure out how to put categories on my site, so I can categorize my posts. Please advise. Thank you.

    I do not understand this stuff. What is a blockquote? What are the words above this box, “strong, em, link, quote, ul, ol, li, code and close What am I supposed to do with them?

    Hi.. just happened upon your questions.. Regarding tags and categories. You can add them on your dashboard under Posts-Categories or Tags.
    I have some Categories that I added there that default whenever I do a new post, but I can choose which ones I want ie check or uncheck them. I find the easiest thing to do is when I do a new post.. on the right hand side you’ll see Categories and you can add them there.

    The same with tags, but you need to separate the tags with a comma after each one eg… love,family,humour,

    Without doing these it is hard for anyone to find your posts in order to read them.
    Caution against using too many… usually under 10 and use words that you think would be the easiest for readers to find… Hope this helps a little. Diane
