How Do I chage The Colour Of Text?
-
Hi Techs,
How do I change the coulour of my text?
Most grateful for your kind assistance,

It’s a pain in the butt to do, and if you change themes you may be in trouble: we had one guy who made all his text a sort of parchment colour, then decided he wanted that for a blog background: all his text vanished, because it was the same colour as the background.
But, if you insist:

If you’re using the visual editor with the Advanced Toolbar (to get that, click on the last icon on the right, the one with all the multicoloured squares) there’s a button there that can change your text without you having to code.

Thanks raincoaster. Could you tell me where to find the multicoloured button? I can’t see it in new post or on dashbiard. The icons on the right are ‘code’ and the poll button
(Sounds like really poor programming. For heavens sake why can’t you just higlight the text and click a colour selection icon as you do on almost any forum?)
It’s just that certain colour text better matches a photo or a sense that you want to give to the text.
thanks again,

Visual post or page editor, row 2 button 4:

You can – as Panos says. If you can’t see that button, hit the right-hand button on the top row (not the insert media and polls buttons), just under the V in Visual in the visual editor (not so much multicoloured as blue and black). That will reveal the second row of buttons.
