How Do I Chance Address on a blog
-
I created a site One Who Walks with address daly325.wordpress.com by error. I wasn’t clear on what I was doing, and don’t want my user name as par of the address. I want onewhowalks.wordpress.com – so I tried to create that but was told One Who Walks is being held. I seem unable to get rid of the current address to replace it. I have another blog with address exuberanteclectic.wordpress.com Similarly I want One Who Walks onewhowalks.wordpess.com Please tell me how I can do this. Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I decided to delete the blog and the daly325.wordpress.com user name so that I could begin from scratch.
When I deleted it all, I logged back in, and tried to set the blog up again. I put in the new address onewhowalks.wordpress.com (noting the irony that says the address can be changed later, which I didn’t appreciate, having tried it and finding no explanation of help when it proved improssible).
I put in the title of the blog One Who Walks, and the notice said that title was reserved. For whom? I was the one who put it in in the first place, and when WordPress wouldn’t let met change the address and keep the title, deleted everything to get around the problem.
With all due respect to user forums this is the kind of problem which is needless, wastes a lot of time (even free users shouldn’t have to waste time), and is one most readily resolved by staff support.
Forgive me if I seem angry – it is because I am. This is a problem which ought not to exist. It ought to be easy to change an address and keep the blog name – otherwise why say on the site that you can change the address later.
Any help is gratefully appreicated. Thank you.
