How do I change a published article back to draft status?

    I was in the middle of writing an article and I accidentally hit the ‘publish’ button and not the ‘save draft’ button. The only thing I can do in order to not have it published is to put it in the trash, but I cannot edit it. Is there any way to put it back to draft unpublished status?
    If anyone can respond I appreciate it but please be as detailed as you can because wordpress’s tabs tend to be pretty convoluted. I hear there is a ‘post options’ tab but i can’t find it. thank you

    In the wordpress dashboard, go to Posts > All Posts.

    Place the mouse cursor on the post to be edited. Select Quick Edit, on the status section, change the status from published to draft and press update.
