Hi there, it looks like you are using the Morden theme on your site. You can learn more about setting it up here: https://wordpress.com/theme/morden
You’ll find a detailed explanation on working with the block editor in our guide: https://en.support.wordpress.com/wordpress-editor/

Thanks for the quick reply, however in the tutorial I can’t see any reference to the header image right below the back banner with the menu structure. How can I add this image on top of the page?

Ah, I think I see what it is and it’s my oversight. The demo site has a static front page active while your site is using the default posts/blog page for your front page.
Before you set your site’s front page to display your blog posts, did you create and publish a new Page and select the Blog template that’s in the lower left corner of this screenshot?
Since this theme is very new, let me tag this thread for Staff attention and assistance too.

Hello again, It’s possible to add that “header” image you see when you are using a static front page, but I don’t see any information about what’s possible when the Blog page template is selected.
Let’s wait for some direction from Staff.

I already was able to change it by :
– creating a new page
– selecting the blog template and rebuild the page
– uploaded my own banner
– set this page as home page
– deleting the “old” home pageWorking fine now. Thanks, your previous message helped doing this.
