How do I change an image’s link?
-
My latest blog post has a screenshot of my new website’s home page, with a url link to the home page in the text.
Right now, clicking on the screenshot just enlarges the screenshot, b/c it isn’t a link to my home page. I think this may be confusing to readers who click on the image, expecting my website to pop up, so I would like to arrange it so it will. What should I do? TIA
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Go to the Visual editor, click once on the image, then click on the Link icon. That’ll bring up the link box and you can put whatever you like in there. Alternately, you can click on the Mountain Icon and change the link on the Advanced Settings there.

@raincoaster – Neither suggestion worked for me. Changing the url in the link box didn’t do anything, and clicking on the mountain icon, might have worked if I could find it. Where is it? (I’ve got the kitchen sink showing, but don’t see a mountain icon. TIA

Changing the URL in the link box always works. There must be some quirk; what are you putting in instead? You can just clear it out so it’s empty and hit Update. Or just click on the image and then click on the Unlink icon.
The Mountain icon only appears once you’ve clicked on the image; it appears right on the image itself. Click it.Advanced options are on the second page.

@raincoaster – Thanks for clarifying. As a stopgap solutions, I changed the image caption, and when I have more time, will re-try yours. Thanks again.
