How do I change back from a purchased domain to a wordpress domain?

  I let my purchased domain “positivechangefromwithin.com” expire on June 27, 2012, and selected “positivechangefromwithin.wordpress.com” as the primary URL on the dashboard. I thought the change over was working fine until it was recently brought to my attention that it is not. The wordpress URL is still pointing to the “positivechangefromwithin.com” URL, and freezing up the computer. How can this be fixed?
