Please don’t post the same question multiple times. It causes the volunteers to run in circles and they get cranky.
There is no phone support, so you will have to check back here in the forums for any answers or suggestions.
First off with Vigilance, make sure you have selected “enabled” from the pulldown so that you can use custom colors. Enter the custom color hexadecimal code. Click “save changes” at the bottom of the page.

Probably not a good idea to post your phone number in the forum. None of the volunteers or staff will phone you, I can promise, but I bet some spammers will.
Now, how exactly are you attempting to change your background? Are you changing Themes? Are you editing the CSS code? If so, have you paid for the upgrade?
