how do I change banner on wordpress 4/9/8 elegant theme

  I recently updated awfj.org from WE 3.9 to WP 4.9.8 on a staging site. The banner on has disappeared. In its place is just the name of the blog in very small print. I cannot find any place to edit or reestablish the banner. There is no ;header’ selection in the desktop menu. This is a multisite and I am the super-admin.

  It appears that your website uses the self-hosted version of WordPress rather than WordPress.com, which is what this forum is designed to help with. Note the difference here: https://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  You may be able to find help here: https://wordpress.org/support/ or alternatively contact your hosting provider.
