How do I change color and size of fonts?

I am trying to set up the home page. The tag line goes on the photo in white and is nearly invisible. Also the Title of the Site is in a font I did not select. Can I put the tagline below the photo?
Also, how do I put text photos, etc. in the blank space beneath the photo?The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you are referring only to the text inside of your posts and pages you can make some changes without an annually renewable upgrade.
