How do I change font colour in Apostrophe 2 template?

  • Unknown's avatar

    I have read through some answers already given and tried copying the code into custom CSS but nothing changes or updates.

    Basically, I want to change the colour of :

    * The featured post headers [top two on homepage]
    * All other blog entry headers – both on homepage, category page and blog post page
    * The background colour of the date stamp across the images in the grid, both on homepage and category pages

    I’m new to CSS – have read a few articles about using CSS Selectors but lots of the steps don’t match up with what I see on my screen or in my Customizer. I have tried pasting code that’s been given in other answers on the forum into the CSS box in my customizer but absolutely nothing updates or changes so I’m obviously going wrong somewhere.

    Would really appreciate any help you can give me as want to get the site completed next week. The site is http://www.liquorandlace.co.uk

    Thank you
    Kate

  • Hello Kate,

    Do you see CSS from your Customizer? You may not be able to just copy CSS code because most of the time it will not be exactly the same for every website.

    I tested changing the background color of the post dates of your websites – you may check from this screenshot.

    And I use this code:

    .entry-footer a[rel="category tag"], .sticky .entry-meta, .blog .featured-content .entry-meta .posted-on {
     background-color: #ce0000;
    }

    **Note: You will need to change the value “#ce0000” to the color that you want. You can find Hex Codes of colors from this link.

    In order to get to the CSS Editor of your website, please see instructions from this link.

    If you have few to change, I could try making the codes for you.

    Regards,
    Rose
