How do I change font colour with Sela theme?

    I have a website using Sela but unfortunately it is very hard to read. I want to change the main text colour to black (it is currently grey) and the links and widget from pink to another colour more in keeping with my site. However I can’t find anywhere in the style sheets to change the colours. Can you help please? The site is https://karenwarrenauthor.com/ Thanks.

    Hi, I would change that via CSS but therefore you need at least the Premium Plan. If you already have that here is some code which will help you:

    ##for changing the pink dots##
.nav-menu > li > a::after, .main-navigation .menu > li > a::after {
    color: #ffa4ad; //put the colour in you prefer
    content: " 2022";
    margin-left: 1em;
}

##for changing the hover and active colour of the menu items##
.main-navigation li.current_page_item > a, .main-navigation li.current-menu-item > a, .main-navigation li.current_page_ancestor > a, .main-navigation li.current-menu-ancestor > a {
    color: #4f4f4f; //put the colour in you prefer
}

    Therefore you need to go to customize>additional CSS but this, as said, will only work if you got a Premium or higher Plan.

    Thanks for the response. Unfortunately I don’t have the premium plan – does that mean I am stuck with those colours?

    Since your site is using the WP software hosted at SiteGround, you can use the CSS that @32lamar provided. You do not need to upgrade to any WPcom plan since your site is not hosted here.

    You can get more information on working with your software at https://wordpress.org/support/ where you’ll find documentation and users who have more experience with the software you are using. If you don’t have a username on the ORG forums you can register one on the top of that page.

    Just to clarify, this support forum assists users hosted on the WPcom platform.
