Agreed, I am having the same issue. I would like to reduce the size of the heading and welcome text on Mixfolio so that users don’t have to scroll down to see post content/featured images. I too have purchased the custom design upgrade. URL: http://lakevilla.wordpress.com/

I figured out how to change the larger title font, above the welcome area (The iD Staffing Auditions). Within the Mixfolio stylesheet simply copy the below code and paste it into the CSS box on custom design. Then revise the font size as you see fit.
.hero h2 {
font-size: 64px;
text-shadow: 1px 1px 2px #fff;Additionally, you can change the size of the header font at the very top of the page (under the spotlight) by editing the font size in the code below and updating the CSS:
#branding .brand {
float: left;
display: block;
padding: 8px 20px 12px;
margin-left: -20px;
color: #fff;
font-size: 20px;
font-weight: 200;
line-height: 1; -
Thanks – very useful!
Do you know how to change the colour of the headings on the actual blog pages as well as the links? At the moment it is a light blue which is very hard to see against my background. Another alternative would be to change the background on the blog pages however it does not give me that option.
Any ideas?

Hi Cat,
Change the color element in the css below (#2a85e8 = light blue) and upload the new info to your custom design css, this should solve your heading problem. I wasn’t able to figure out the link issue yet.
}
.entry-header .entry-title {
color: #2a85e8;
font-weight: bold;
margin-bottom: 36px;To help understand what css codes apply to the different elements on your website, download the google chrome “inspect element” tool or Firebug if you’re using firefox. This will allow you to browse over page items and see what css is affecting them, making edits far easier.
