How do I change from private to public access?

  Hi
  I have set up a blog for my students who are in France and Germany on language exchange. The blog was set up as private access but now I wish to allow public access for their parents. I don’t want the parents to have to set up their own WordPress blogs in order to view the students’ blogs so how do I make the website now public for them to view, read and post comments?

  They can setup username only accounts, it doesn’t take very long to setup! Here is the sign up link to create a username only account:
  https://en.wordpress.com/signup/?user=1

  Then you can invite them as viewers using the Users → Invite New page.
