How do I change language preferences when I can't read the language shown?
-
The interface/ banner is using a language I don’t know (Chinese characters, I believe) and I can’t read it to change language preferences.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can find out more about changing the Language Settings on your WordPress.com account here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/language-settings/

That doesn’t help me since I cannot read the language currently being used, so I cannot go to “personal settings” because I can’t read what’s showing so I don’t know where “personal settings” is because it’s not in English.
-
On the blog Dashboard, go to the 10th tab on the left-hand side of the screen. Hover your mouse over that and you should be able to see 4 other options. Click on the 4th option and you should be able to find the Language Settings on that page.
If you need any more help, just let us know.

I was able to get into “account options” and the language setting there IS set to English… the headers and titles are in a non-English language that use pictograms and I can’t read them.

Ok. Visit theliteratecondition.wordpress.com/wp-admin/options-general.php to change the language of your actual blog.

And, Yay! Re-submitted English as language preference and that worked! Thanks for the tab number help, Tom!

I had the same thing happen; settings are in English but language is still appearing as Chinese Han. accessing via the admin.php file doesnt work for me either. I was working on another issue (displaying version numbers) when my language suddenly changed.
