How do I change link Structure to a Permanent Link?
-
Hello. Right now my posts have a URL with the date and headline in it:

So if I change the date of publishing or the headline, the URL changes, and if someone has linked to the post with the older date, the link no longer works. How can I change the settings so that the URL I have for each blog post never changes, even if I change the date or the headline? I do not need the date in the URL.
Thanks very much.

Hi there,
All blogs on WordPress.com are automatically set to have a link structure which includes the date. There is no way to set truly permanent links for your posts.
Sorry for the inconvenience!
