How do I change link text background color?

    Hi all,

I’m having an issue which is driving me a bit mad. As you’ll see on the header, hovering over text makes the background colour of the text go white. That’s as desired. However, further down in the ‘Work’ section is a text link called ‘Full Credits’. Try as I might, I cannot change the background text fill colour from the cyan colour it has currently to the white of the header link text. It’s worth noting that the cyan is part of the default site template palette, but I don’t need it as part of my colour scheme.

The overall Styles palette settings are set to Hover being white by default, but weirdly, changing that makes no difference to the problem link colour OR header link colour. I’m losing my marbles over this. Any idea what I need to change to make this work?

Hi, I tried to check your site it’s coming soon. so I can’t check. I think Custom CSS can fix the problem!

To modify the background color of hyperlink text in HTML, you can apply CSS styles to the anchor (<a>) elements. By targeting different link states—such as unvisited (a:link), visited (a:visited), hover (a:hover), and active (a:active)—you can create a dynamic and engaging user experience. For instance, you might set a specific background color for unvisited links, change it when the link has been visited, alter it when a user hovers over the link, and define another color for the moment the link is clicked. This approach not only enhances the visual appeal of your website but also provides clear feedback to users as they interact with links. Remember to ensure sufficient contrast between the text and background colors to maintain readability and accessibility.

Ah whoops, I forgot I hadn’t launched it. I’m not used to being able to see the site direct at the URL prior to launch on other platforms!

Looks like I have to upgrade to the Premium plan to use CSS styles. Is there really not an option through the WYSIWYG editor?
