How do I change my blog address to one that I used to own?
-
I would like to change my current blog address, usernameA.wordpress.com, to usernameB.wordpress.com. The latter is a url that I just recently deleted, so I was the owner. However, when I try to rename my current url, usernameA, to usernameB, it says “sorry, that site already exists”.
I understand that WordPress does not recycle urls to protect privacy and author’s intentions, but in this case, I am the original author.
As an aside, usernameA = dennispestano (my pen name). I would now like to use usernameB = roelsarmago, which is my real name.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

I’m sorry but that’s not possible. Note there are 3 warnings and a verification link in an email required to delete a blog. That is because deleted blog URLs are not recycled.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/recycling-blog-names/You can register another blog with a similar name. http://en.support.wordpress.com/register-a-blog/
Or you can register a domain vis a domain mapping upgrade and it will not matter what the underlying .wordpress.com address is.
