How do I change my blog name and url on WordPress without losing subscribers?

  I would like to change my blog address and url from the current address to ‘Example’. I would also like the url to be ‘Example.wordpress.com’ . I do want to stay with WordPress. Currently my blog name and url are distinctly different and I would like the url to have my blog name in it. Most importantly, I need your help to to ensure that readers and subscribers are automatically REDIRECTED to my new worpress site. I would really appreciate your assistance with this. Thank you!

  Sangeeta,

  You won’t lose followers/subscribers if you change your blog’s address following this guide:
  https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/

  However, if you have registered a new blog already, you would then be required to export/import posts manually as well as move the existing followers.
