How do I change my blog URL back to original??
-
I was messing around with the “General” settings on my Dashboard, when I made the mistake of changing the site/blog URL from “thenerm.com/blog” to “thenerm.com”. It seems after I made that change, I am prompted with the following error message on my browser:
“404 Error File Not Found
The page you are looking for might have been removed,
had its name changed, or is temporarily unavailable.* If you typed in the URL, please check the spelling
* You can try to click the Back button and try another linkWeb Hosting provided by Bluehost.Com”
As it is, I cannot even log back onto my blog’s dashboard to change the settings. Every time I go to the login site, I receive the same 404 error message. I do not know what to do since I cannot login to my account. Is it possible, on your end, to change the site and blog URL back to “thenerm.com/blog” from “thenerm.com”? I think that this will fix the problem, but at the same time, I am not sure. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks!
-Josh

It seems your blog isn’t hosted at WordPress.com .
To clear up any confusion, WordPress.com and WordPress.org are two different entities.
In your case it’s best to contact your registrar (Bluehost) about this issue.
