How do I change my domain name?

    I need to change the domain name – I entered it incorrectly… It has my domain (eg. http://www.example.com.au) however it has added an extra .com, therefore it is coming up as (eg.) http://www.example.com.au.com

    All free WP blogs have a domain that ends in “.wordpress.com”, so when you entered your address on creating the blog you should only have entered “kindyoga” in the text box instead of the whole thing. On your dashboard, select “My Blogs”. If you hover the mouse pointer over your current URL the option will appear to change your blog address. Click on that and enter only “kindyoga” in the text box that appears. After completing this process your blog URL will be “http://kindyoga.wordpress.com/”

    If you want it to simply be “http://kindyoga.com” or “.au” or whatever else, you’ll need to buy a custom domain. Instructions for that in the following support doc: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/

    To change your blog title, i.e. what appears in your blog header, click on Settings > General in your dashboard.
