How do I change my domain name?

    I want to change my domain name from baumshell.net to thebaumshellblog.com. How do I go about doing this?

    Hi there,

    It isn’t possible to change a domain name registration once you have registered the domain. So, you won’t be able to edit your registration for baumshell.net. However, you can register the new domain thebaumshellblog.com on your site following the instructions here:

    Register a New Domain

    Once you register the new domain, you can set it as the primary domain so both baumshell.net and baumshell.wordpress.com would redirect to thebaumshellblog.com.

    Please note, this would require another purchase. As your previous domain purchase is outside of the refund window (two days), I cannot issue a refund. However, I can disable auto renew on your domain baumshell.net so that it will not renew again going forward.
