How do I change my domain name?

  I just want to change my domain name, or cancel and start over. I signed up for the free blog a long time ago, never used it, now I want to start it and still use the same email address but it’s not lettingme cancel and start over or change my domain. Please tell me how, thanks.

  Hey there, if you want to retain the same blog URL (liasays.wordpress.com), you can start over by following the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/empty-site/

  Or, if you want to change your blog address from liasays.wordpress.com to something else, you can follow the instructions at https://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/ [Please read point number 7 very carefully]

  Yet another other option is to create a brand new blog, with a new WordPress.com address, under your existing WordPress.com account. There is no limit on how many blogs a user can have on WordPress.com.
