how do I change my domain name

  I have all the instructions for changing domain name, but when I typed the change, this message appeared:

  “Sorry, you cannot edit this resource without a valid token for this blog”

  What does this mean? What is a valid token?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  I want to clarify….

  Are you trying to change the name on americaishardertofind.wordpress.com?

  OR – are you trying to register a custom domain?

  These are 2 different processes. Thanks for letting me know in advance :)

  I am trying to change ‘harder’ to ‘hard’ – in the existing address –

  Someone else created this site for me – I am not tech savvy – don’t understand jargon words like token

  Liz,
  I tried looking into the works behind the visible content.
  It looks like the shorter ‘hard’ version actually is one of my sites, as “primary domain.”
  I am trying to shorten the title of
  americaishardertofind.wordpress.com
  but keep the content., i.e., not lose the site.
  Can you tell me how to change the name on the existing site? thx in advance
