How do I change my domain name?

My web address is correct but my domain says wordpresscom at the end of it (before the actual wordpress.com). Any way I can change this because it says it’s locked, or should I just make a new account?

Or are you trying to register a new domain?

What is the exact error message you are seeing and at which stage in the process?
