How do I change my email address?

    Hello,

    I tried to change my email address and I got a message telling me to check my inbox for a confirmation email. I have not received the confirmation email and so do not know what to do now. Could you please advise?

    Hi there,

    Our logs show the confirmation email is attempting to be sent to your new email address. It never actually reaches your account though because your MX records are not correctly configured for email to reach mugenjukukids.com.

    Please follow these steps to adjust your domain’s MX records:

    1. Visit https://wordpress.com/my-domains/
    2. Click “Edit” next to mugenjukukids.com
    3. Choose the “Edit DNS” tab
    4. Make sure all five MX records required for Google Apps are present (you currently only have one of these): 
      MX ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM 1
MX ALT1.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM 5
MX ALT2.ASPMX.L.GOOGLE.COM 5
MX ASPMX2.GOOGLEMAIL.COM 10
MX ASPMX3.GOOGLEMAIL.COM 10
    5. Click “Save Changes”
    6. Wait approximately 4 hours
    7. Send an email from a different email account to your email address and make sure it gets through
    8. Once it does and you know the email setup is working, re-attempt the email address change
