How do I change my favicon?
-
I guess somewhere I uploaded a picture of myself, and it’s decided to make that picture of me my favicon… you know, the icon that appears next to your URL in the address bar and on your bookmark list? See, I don’t really like that and I want it to not be like that. My blog is only related to myself in the sense that I write it. It is otherwise not really about “me.” So it doesn’t make much sense.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

So, I’ve tried changing every image that WordPress has ever asked of me. In fact, the icon you see to the left is what I would like to be resized down and used as my favicon. Frankly, I don’t even care if I have a favicon. I just don’t want the one I have. Do I have to like… start another account to get it to go away because nothing else seems to do it.
Take a look. http://purasuichi.wordpress.com
Who in their right mind would want a tiny 16 x 16 picture of themselves as their favicon? I just… don’t even understand.

haha, ok, well… Maybe I was exaggerating a bit. I did change the blog icon, or blavatar, under General Settings.
Should the favicon change immediately or does it take time?
-
My experience is that all gravatar, avatar and blavatar changes take time to change throughout the internet.
