  Hi, I believe the existing article in the wordpress help is outdated. Can someone help please?

  It’ not outdated but many bloggers do not look closely at the image provides and locate the correct My Blogs spot. Look closely at the image to find the correct My Blogs location. http://en.support.files.wordpress.com/2011/01/dashboard-e1371648470893.png
  You cannot edit any URL but you can change the blog address ie. the URL starting with http://. You must be logged in as Admin under the exact same username account that registered the blog to do that and the URL you desire must be available. If so then you can change the URL by using this guide http://en.support.wordpress.com/changing-blog-address/ Note that both changing a URL or deleting a URL are permanent and irreversible actions.
