How do I change my tagline?

    I did a search and found tutorials on how to change my blog tagline. The directions stated I needed to be logged on to my wordpress site. Then, I needed to go to “Settings” then “General.”

    I went to “Settings” but “General” is not an option. So, can you tell me where I can go to find the “General” menu. Or, maybe if it doesn’t exist on my account, can you tell me where to go to change my site tagline?

    Hi there!
    So when you signed in, did you go to your Account Settings? Where you can change your email address, web address, etc.?
    The Settings>General setting can be found in your Dashboard. If you are in your dashboard, are you the Administrator for your blog? If you are not an administrator, then certain changes are off limits to you.

    I found it! I think I was in the Settings on a different section of my page. I wasn’t in the Dashboard.

    On every WordPress.com blog, provided you are logged in as Admin you chnage the optional Tagline here > Settings > General on the second line down on that page. There is NO other place on any WordPress.com blog that the Tagline can be changed.
