How do I change my URL to the one I originally had?

    My URL was originally courtneyluk.wordpress.com. Then I changed my URL to accommodate an assignment for school. Now, I would like to recover my original URL for business needs.

    I used the site recovery form, but I do not have a transaction receipt, an activation code, or any of the other codes they ask for.

    How would I be able to recover my old URL?

    Hi!

    It looks like you originally had setup courtneyluk as your username at WordPress.com. When you setup a username like courtneyluk, we automatically reserve a .wordpress.com URL (courtneyluk.wordpress.com) for that particular user account. Since you changed your username from courtneyluk to a different username, that URL isn’t available (still reserved by the original username).

    I went ahead and fixed this up for you. You will now see the URL courtneyluk.wordpress.com under the following URL:

    https://wordpress.com/sites

    You will not be able to return to the previous username.
