My home page is linked to my old, closed account. How do I get it linked back to the correct home page?

I’m not sure I understand what you mean. Your site mackayenglish.wordpress.com is owned by your mackayenglish WordPress.com account.
Could you explain in more detail what you’re trying to accomplish, including specific links to pages that you are referring to?

My home page was linked to an inactive wordpress, but I changed it under appearance-menus.
I’m very new to WordPress and trying to establish a professional portfolio.
