How do I change RSS feed format – “by AUTHOR on SUBJECT”
-
When I see my feed in Bloglines or whatever – at the top of each post it says “By Francesca” (me, the author) “on _____________” and some random tag that I have given the post appears – for example, “By Francesca on Ziplens”. How do I delete that, and just have it read “By Francesca”. Sometimes the tags are not really what the whole post is about and I think they seem misleading to a reader. Is there a setting somewhere that controls this?
I’ve tried looking through the FAQ’s to find an answer to this, and have had no luck, so if the answer does exist in FAQ, could someone tell me what to search to find the answer?

First we need a link to your blog to determine if you are even in the right forum. And please read the two stickies at the top of the forums.

(Hey – you were in my home town!)
Thanks for the link. If you look in your dashboard under settings>reading, you can uncheck the tags box (under Enhanced feed) and then the tags won’t be a part of the feed.

Bloglines has been having some issues in the past. I wonder if they are having problems again. When I looked at your feed in Firefox, I didn’t see any tags at all. Have you looked at the feed in another reader?
