How do I Change RSS to Feedburner?
-
I am using the Structure Theme by Organic Themes. I want to change the RSS feed social media icon in the upper right-hand corner to my Feedburner feed. Under Theme Options, I can change the Twitter and Facebook feeds, but I cannot figure out how to change the RSS feed itself. How do I do that? Thanks.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You cannot change the RSS feed. It will always reflect the standard wordpress feed URL. And this is just my opinion, but I don’t like it when someone forces me to use a certain feed service. I prefer to use the simple feed reader built into my browser. Just sayin’.

You can always create one in a text widget in the sidebar, or even using an image widget and linking the image to your feedburner feed.

You can create separate Feedburner subscriptions and then provide your readers with a choice. The instructions are here and you will have to scroll down below the video to find them. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2009/12/25/rss-in-plain-english-and-feedburner-for-email-updates/ One thing I’d like to mention is that if you do ever move your blog onto self-hosting Feedburner subscriptions are portable.

I did add a separate text widget in the sidebar, but I hate having the one at the top that is not linked to feedburner. I would be happy if I could just hide them all and manually put in the ones I want.

You can choose a theme that doesn’t automatically display it, or you can learn CSS editing and use that to hide the existing button.
