How do I change some post from the full view to the short view?

    How to display full post or short version, where the entire post is not visible, but only a short excerpt instead. Also, is it possible to do this to certain post, but not all. I have some I want to shorten, and archive. I can’t find a way to archive post either. Thank you very much, and your site is awesome.
