How do I change text size in my posts?

When writign posts for my blog how can I change the size of text that is displayed from what shows up once the article has been posted? I find the posts a little hard to read in their current form.

why is the text size in my last entry one size and the rest of my entries a smaller size? It wasnt like that before, now all of a sudden it is, and its bugging me.

Have you changed themes recently? The theme “Ambiru” displays your latest post with a larger font and a lightly shaded background.

Hey I’m having the same problem – the text looks ok in the editor but comes out all different sizes on the actual page. Can you help?

@wroteunder, you are pasting directly from MS Word, and that is a really bad idea. Word does not speak HTML, the language of the web, and as such, it puts all sorts of garbage into posts.

Ahhhhhh! Makes sense now. Thing is, even worse stuff happens when I paste stuff directly from email, so I ask my colleagues to send me stuff in Word. Is there any way to remove the formatting or do I have to type the whole thing again directly into the Post Editor?

– If you have to paste from Word or e-mails (or any other code-rich source), do it via the “Paste from Word” or “Paste as plain text” buttons, or as Tess says.
– Tess’s suggestion is the most surefire way to clear up your already published posts too: select all the text in the visual editor, copy, switch to html, paste, then format it using the editor tools.
