How do I change the About page's content?

I’m setting up a WordPress website, (email visible only to moderators and staff).

It’s almost done, but I’m having one problem. On the published page, there is a link called About. When I click on it, I get a WordPress page.

When I go to my layout page, the word Menu is under the site’s tag line. When I click on Menu, it tells me to click on Edit to change the page’s content.

But the only “Edit” I see on the page is under the social media sites. It does nothing when I click on it.

    So my question is:

    How can I either:

    – delete the word About from my home page or
    – edit the About page so that it shows my content, not yours?

    Thank you!

  • Hi, Charlie.

You can adapt your ‘About’ page content. Click on Pages item at ‘My Site’ Dashboard. Then, select the page you want to change, ‘About’ in this case, and you will be able to edit it.

    I hope this helps.
