How do I change the color of my title font

  • Unknown's avatar

I have been able to change the color of my title font in the past. Now I can’t seem to do it. Is there a way I’m missing?

    Thank you!

    Hi there,

You can change your site title’s font color under Appearance > Header in your site’s WP Admin dashboard.

In the “Header Text” section at the bottom of that page, next to “Text Color,” you can select the color you want to use.

Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that. :)

I just tried your instructions and, under ‘Appearance’, there is no choice for ‘Header’.

Sorry for the confusion! That page was just recently phased out (after I sent my earlier reply), so that header text color option was removed. From now on you’ll need to make any changes like that in your site’s Customizer, instead.

To make changes to your site’s colors there (including the site title’s font color) you’ll need the Custom Design features (which allow you to customize the colors, font, and design in your site’s theme). That’s part of the WordPress.com Premium plan, which you can try out by signing up on your site’s Plans page.
