How Do I Change The Color Of The Reply Border?
-
Hello,
I’m trying to change my reply color which is red on my blog, because it doesn’t match the rest of the theme, and looks out of place.
Is there any way I can change the border on my replies in the CSS so it matches a little better?
Thanks.

Hi there,
Do you mean that you would like to just change the color of the red horizontal line between each comment? If so, go to the custom CSS editor and paste in this snippet:
.comment-list .bypostauthor .comment-body { border-bottom-color: #NEWCOLOR; }Replace NEWCOLOR with your preferred color hex code.
Let me know if that doesn’t work, or if there was something else you wanted changed as well!

Thank you sewingpattern, it worked!
Just another quick question, do you know how to also change the link colors of the date, tags and categories that’s also red?

Hooray, glad it worked! And yeah, let’s see if we can change all the red colors. Try adding this entire snippet into the CSS editor in addition to the previous code:
.entry-meta-footer a, .entry-meta-footer a:visited { color: #NEWCOLOR; .post-navigation .nav-previous a:before, .post-navigation .nav-next a:after { color: #NEWCOLOR; } a, a:visited { color: #NEWCOLOR; }And as usual, change each instance of NEWCOLOR to the color you’d like.
Hope that works as well! Lemme know if something went wrong, or if I missed anything.
