How do i change the default link for link post-types using the Writr theme?

I have noticed that when I use the “link” post type in the writr theme, once the post is live, clicking the title automatically links to the first hyperlink in the post.

Is it possible to edit this behavior? My preference would be for it not to link to anything, but if it is a necessity, is there a way to change it to link to a new window?

Please keep in mind that I am a css novice in your response!!

    Hi there,

Changing the functioning of the Link post type actually isn’t possible through CSS. You would need to edit the php files creating this behavior. Unfortunately, that isn’t possible at WordPress.com.

Going forward, you will need to refrain from using the Link post type unless you want the title of the post hyperlinked to the first URL in the post and opening in the same window.

Please let me know if you need anything else!

Not a problem. I’m sorry I couldn’t be more helpful. Please let me know if you need anything else!
