How do I change the domain mapping?
-
My https://keywordtransformations.wordpress.com/ blog is supposed to be mapped to blog.keywordtransformations.com but this url gives a “Forbidden You don’t have permission to access / on this server” message. When I try and map it, wordpress.com tells me that blog.keywordtransformations.com is already mapped. But I don’t see what it is mapped to, nor how to correct it.
Please can you help?

On our end, things look like they are set up correctly. You have purchased domain mapping for blog.keywordtransformations.com. Have you followed all instructions listed here:
http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/
Particularly step 1 that needs to be completed at your domain registrar.

OK, I clicked the link to activate it – it said it could take up to 48 hours. That was three days ago, still get the “Forbidden You don’t have permission to access / on this server” message. Please can you help with some clear instructions or suggestions? Please don’t just direct me to this link again (http://en.support.wordpress.com/domains/map-subdomain/), as far as I’m concerned this has all be done correctly, it just isn’t working.

As I do not have access to your domain registrar, I cannot check to see if you have set things up correctly on that end of things. Talking to your domain registrar’s support team and showing them document I sent previously may be the best bet. Specifically these instructions:
Instructions for Mapping Subdomains
Add a CNAME record through the registrar where you purchased your domain or through your DNS provider. You should NOT change your Name Server information if you wish to only map a subdomain. The CNAME should look something like the following (please note the fullstop character at the end of each domain name):
subdomain.yourdomain.com. IN CNAME yourblog.wordpress.com.
Instructions on how to add a CNAME record can vary between domain registrars. If you’re unsure of how to do this, we recommend contacting your domain registrar for assistance with this step. Your domain registrar is typically whoever you purchased your domain from. Here’s a sample email you can send (replace the example subdomain and WordPress.com blog address given with your own subdomain and blog address):
I would like to map a subdomain of my domain to my blog, which is hosted at WordPress.com. I want to use the subdomain blog.mygroovydomain.com. Can you please add a CNAME record to point that subdomain to example.wordpress.com?
