How do I change the drop down menu items on the home page of my wordpress site?
-
I inherited this blog from another graduate assistant and I can’t figure out how to edit the drop down menu on the home page of the site I am supposed to be updating. Essentially I have to create a page for Winter 2014 course offerings and place it under the Courses heading in the drop down menu on the front page of the site (to make it easier for students to find and access in the future). From what I’ve gathered, I’d have to create a “child” page for Winter 2014 courses and assign it to the “parent” page, “Courses.” The only problem is that I can’t find the existing page for Courses….I’m stuck and I can’t figure this out! Any guidance would seriously help me out. Thanks in advance!

The blog is using a custom menu. After you publish the new page, you go to Appearance > Menus and edit the menu. For details on custom menus see this post of mine:
